AT&T and Gaming Collaboration

Challenge

AT&T aimed to engage mobile gamers to highlight the value of 5G technology beyond its existing gaming sponsorships. The company needed direct-to-consumer offers to build credibility with avid mobile gamers.

Approach

My team led a series of strategic announcements with partners like Nvidia, Samsung, and Google to generate momentum around AT&T's 5G gaming experiences. We leveraged existing events, such as making the Nvidia announcement at CES, and arranged one-on-one briefings with executives. Our integrated communications strategy included coordinated outreach to beat reporters across telecom, device, gaming, and tech media. This approach resulted in hundreds of media hits, significantly increasing AT&T’s exposure to the target consumer group.
